Michelle Obama tweets sweet birthday message to her 'phenomenal' husband

A woman recently sent a wedding invitation to the former United States president Barack Obama and his wife Michelle, and she received a congratulatory card signed by both of them.

First, the former first lady of US shared some throwback family pictures on Instagram in which Barack is seen blowing off the candle on his 43rd birthday cake.

For many people, their wedding day is the best day of their lives.

Texas bride Brooke Allen was shocked to learn that her mom, Liz Whitlow, took the liberty of sending Michelle and Barack Obama an invite to her daughter's March wedding back in December.

The note, written on letterheaded paper, read: "Congratulations on your wedding". One showed the message that Barack and Michelle sent to a fan who had welcomed a baby girl.

Yes, it was nearly exactly a year ago that Clinton joined his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, onstage at the Democratic National Convention as she was named the party's presidential nominee - and took obvious delight at the many balloons floating down to the stage. May this special time be blessed with love, laughter, and happiness.

It seems that Obama plans to keep up the tradition even though he no longer has the White House letterhead. President Donald Trump is working to dismantle many of his predecessor's signature policy achievements, including health care reform as well as key environmental regulations.
