Iranian official has declared the new U.S. sanctions a violation of the 2015 nuclear deal.

The bill seeks to ban anyone dealing with Iran's ballistic missile programme from entering the US, and blocks transactions on properties held in the people associated with the programme.

"So far we consider that all parties have been implementing their commitments under the deal", Catherine Ray, a spokeswoman for European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini, told a press briefing in Brussels.

The accord lifted the nuclear-related sanctions against Iran in exchange for certain restrictions on its nuclear activities.

In a ceremony broadcast live on state television, Khamenei gave his official approval for Rouhani, reports Xinhua news agency.

"Eight presidents, 19 parliament speakers, nine vice presidents and prime ministers, seven parliament vice-speakers, 11 foreign ministers and 35 special envoys from different countries will reportedly attend the ceremony", the report said.

Tehran-based investment company Turquoise Partners earlier suggested that TSE recorded its strongest gains over one week since mid-December 2016 with the All-Share Index advancing 1.7 percent to close at 81,509.
