Kardashian family members were saying Friday that Caitlyn Jenner has betrayed the transgender community by sticking with Donald Trump after the president vowed to ban transgender soldiers from the military, according to TMZ. "What happened to your promise to fight for them?" In April, she published her memoir "The Secrets of My Life". "I believe every American should be outraged by the disrespect shown to those people wearing our country's uniform", she wrote.

Jenner also called the president's idea "half-baked" and said it puts service members in harm's way.

"This proposed ban, if implemented, would cause significant disruptions, deprive the military of mission-critical talent, and compromise the integrity of transgender troops who would be forced to live a lie, as well as non-transgender peers who would be forced to choose between reporting their comrades or disobeying policy".

Mattis, who had maintained the policy of allowing existing transgender service members to serve openly but had recently extended the review period to study policy for admitting new transgender service members, was on vacation when Trump issued the tweets. We are strong, we are handsome, and we will win.

She closed by calling the president to ask which side of history he wants to be on "and reverse his position immediately". Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming.victory and can not be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail.

Formerly known as Bruce Jenner, Caitlyn won the 1976 Olympics decathlon event at the Montreal Olympic Games and appeared in such films as "Can't Stop the Music" with The Village People and "Jack and Jill" with Adam Sandler.

Sigh. Once again, Jenner proves that she will stand up for the trans community-to a point.

The Washington Blade reports that, "Sources familiar with the planning said it would encourage early retirement, usher out any enlisted personnel after their contract is up, and would fire trans officers up for promotion".

Jenner publicly supported Trump, 71, throughout the 2016 presidential election season, much to the dismay of her fellow transgender advocates on her short-lived E! series, I Am Cait. "Let's do everything we can to support our Constitution, to support hopefully less government, less regulation, and let's support the American people".
