What you may not know is that LG will be streaming the V30 event live. The invite hints at the special emphasis on the camera in the V30.

What we are yet to see is the "floating bar" that LG is apparently debuting with the LG V30. The placement of the fingerprint scanner is below the camera and appears quite comfortable reaching it with one hand.

South Korean company LG Electronics is set to launch its upcoming V30 flagship smartphone with P-OLED display screen, f/1.6 aperture crystal clear lens and DSLR-like controls. LG organises a competition in partnership with Gordon-Levitt, wherein the company encourages participants to shoot videos with LG's new products. So it would be odd for LG to essentially downgrade the storage on the LG V30, compared to its predecessor.

The videos not only showed off the phone, but they were also shot using the LG V30.

While the videos have since been pulled from HitRecord, we managed to grab a few screenshots before they disappeared. Now, so far, this seems unlikely since LG isn't touting the fact that it has the first device to have Android O. But that could always happen.

Recently, LG made things official and sent out another invite confirming the launch of the LG V30 at the press event on August 31st. The new feature is believed to provide users quick access to app shortcuts and notifications. It does act like the Secondary display which we have seen in the latest Meizu Pro 7 and Meizu Pro 7 Plus Smartphones. The report means that the 2880 x 1440 18:9 nearly bezel-free screen, which is also featured on LG Q6 and G6, will be showcased as an LCD incarnation.

The V30 is expected to feature a 6-inch display with a "FullVision" bezel-less design, measuring slightly larger than the V20 but with a smaller body.

We reached out to LG for comment but had not heard back at time of writing. "Camera. Action." LG has put an extreme emphasis on V-series devices multimedia capture.
