The Premier League season is now just hours away, and it is time to look ahead to how the 20 teams will all get on.

Mourinho confirmed yesterday that the club were in talks about re-signing the Swede for the second half of the new campaign.

MANCHESTER UNITED have spent big this summer, but has Jose Mourinho missed out on the best talent around?

He'll spend 12 months at Selhurst Park and wear the No.24.

"In my initial analysis, coming from January and progressing through the months, I was thinking about four players", Mourinho said.

"I must now repay that back by putting in some good performances for the club".

Nothing but the Premier League title will do for Guardiola and Mourinho given their spendings as new season kicks off today with Arsenal taking on Leicester The way Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho have been spending, the Premier League trophy should be returning to Manchester in May.

Leicester City's triumph two years ago has shown us that any team with the right personnel, management and good luck against injuries, can challenge for and win the title; however, for this season I believe that the victor will come from a group of seven teams which I will tag as the contenders.

Benjamin Mendy had also seemed destined for Stamford Bridge before Manchester City nabbed him for a reported £43 million while Mo Salah, who Chelsea once sold, became Liverpool's record £37 million signing.

"If Nathaniel Chalobah or Ruben Loftus-Cheek were still there they could get rid of Matic and play a younger kid".

The Premier League is so special because it is hard to find any other league in the world where you will find a team, which is fighting a gruesome relegation battle on one hand and troubling the top teams on the other, consistently. However, the champions won't let go of their title so easily and with new acquisitions like Alvaro Morata, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Anthony Rudigier to complement players like Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and N'golo Kante, the pensioners will definitely not be written off.

In search of goals, United turned to last season's second-highest scorer. Will he gel alongside Kante? The squad is also a little thin on Premier League experience.

"Bakayoko has not and I saw him in the Champions League past year". He will take time to settle.

"In this moment, I agree with these people who think this".
