She added: 'You are directly responsible for what has happened with transgender soldiers and the military.

"You're an (expletive) fraud and a fake", said the woman, Ashlee Marie Preston, a trans activist and journalist.

Preston defended confronting Jenner, tweeting: "Desperate times call for desperate measures". Jezebel reports that the performance was partially sponsored by Jenner, leading Preston to argue that the event was complicit in Jenner's conservative politics.

"It's really fucked up that you continue to support somebody ... that does everything with the military, that's erasing our fucking community", Preston is seen telling Jenner in a Facebook video posted by Preston.

"If she makes a false claim against you, you could be in trouble", Preston said. She's also an activist, and a board member for several organizations including the Trans Chorus. Simpson said it was wrong for the Trans Chorus or any LGBTQ organization to take money from Jenner when she had betrayed the community.

She continued to link Jenner to Trump and his policies.

It's true that the longtime Republican and former Olympian, who came out as transgender two years ago, openly supported Trump's candidacy. Toward the end of the concert, Preston marched over to Jenner and confronted her with criticism about her support for Donald Trump. Jenner wrote in response to the announcement of the trans military ban. This was after she was caught wearing a pro-Trump "Make America Great Again" cap while out driving in her convertible Malibu, TMZ reported.

Caitlyn Jenner was attending the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Robert Rumsey wrote, "Watching that woman protect Caitlyn made me so angry". Oh my god. I'm getting so mad.

It's not clear whether Simpson was aware of Jenner's supposed change of heart regarding Trump. She helped organize the event with a donation, according to TheWrap.

Eventually, Jenner briefly chimes in, saying, "You don't know me". "You are complicit! Taking her money...makes you complicit", Preston blasted. It goes against the mission [of the Trans Chorus], Dena! "We really don't need her or want her, to be honest, but if she does want to be involved, set up a situation to give other trans women of color the spotlight".
