The "Jon is a Targaryen" theory has been popular with fans for quite some time, and it's gotten much more attention the past year, after Bran's flashbacks in Season 6 and Jon adorably petting Daenerys' dragon this season. After all that has happened to bring the two together, that would make for a surprising turn of events heading into the eighth and final season. To say that Game of Thrones Season 7 finale was a wholesome episode that gave us everything we hoped for would still be an understatement. And hence, they get to know about the history of Jon Snow, who is not the bastard son of Ned Stark, but the son of Ned Stark's sister Lynna, making him not the Targaryen nor the stark.

Twitter user @Mahmoudh wrote: "Season 7 Pros: Ice dragon, some nice moments". Thanks to combined knowledge of Bran and Sam, it's now clear that Jon is not only the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna but is legitimate, thanks to that maester who performed a secret marriage ceremony after annulling Rhaegar's marriage to Elia Martell.

Also? Kit Harington has a great butt. After this, Jon and Daenerys head back to Winterfell onboard a ship. But will Daenerys Targaryen bend a knee to Jon like he bent a knee for her? It's about the heroic journey and spectacle, instead of quiet scenes where Varys and Littlefinger play mental chess in empty, cavernous throne rooms.

The darkest timeline in which the Night King conquers the land of the living held steady Monday with the fourth best odds, while the mending of an apparent rift between Sansa Stark and her little ninja-like sister Arya meant the elder Stark leapfrogged her sibling in the odds to sit at fifth most likely to rule all. We look forward to seeing his reaction in the next season! "I love that when we get to the saucy stuff it's a handsome acceptance of a wordless ... yep". Maybe it's Bran, who might also be on the wrong side of the fence? Cersei had agreed to help Jon and Daenerys in the battle against the undead and took everyone by surprise. however, Cersei later revealed that she was actually bluffing Jon and Daenerys and Jaime finally spoke out his frustration. Their's isn't the first incestuous relationship in the show - they finally hooked up in the finale - but the decision to intercut Bran's grand reveal to them in bed certainly made for an odd scene. On the other is Littlefinger, a man who has slowly and carefully built his base of power for one goal, and one objective alone: his own eventual supremacy.

In the previous episode, one of Daenerys' dragons, Viserion, was killed and resurrected by the Night King.

Meanwhile, the finale of "Game of Thrones" season 7 aired on HBO last Sunday, Aug. 27.

Now that the White Walkers have invaded Westeros, things will escalate quickly in Season 8, according to the showrunners - especially since there are only six episodes planned for the show's final season.
