TECH fans are bracing themselves for the arrival of the much-anticipated iPhone 8, which will be a blockbuster release to mark the 10th anniversary of the first Apple smartphone. Extrapolating wildly, if the rose gold was a slightly understated form of conspicuous consumption (yes, my phone is rose gold - but it's a very pale gold), the blush gold iPhones may signal Apple moving even more aggressively into iPhones - especially the iPhone 8 - as even more pure status-symbol and luxury items; something that Jony Ive has been pushing for internally for years.

This could mean the iPhone 8 costs between £800 and £900.

The iPhone 8 price has been one of the most speculated details regarding the upcoming premium device. We're bound to get a much better look at the venue on September 12th. Instead, these analysts believe that the phone's base model will come with a $900 price tag and will be available in two storage models.

Below you can see the a video of a drone passing over the new Apple campus, but it also gives a small glimpse at the location of the next iPhone launch.

And it looks like Goldgenie all but confirmed the rumoured iPhone 7s, because they also have an order page for it (despite all the leaks, nothing's official until Apple actually unveils it).

Samsung's latest Galaxy Note 8 costs about £869 - so it's a safe bet to assume that Apple's gadget will match or top this price.

Some of the more notable ones include Apple removing the Home button altogether leading to thinner bezels and an all screen front, an OLED display, facial recognition to unlock your iPhone, and wireless charging (finally!).

Benjamin Geskin, a prolific leaker who recently chimed in with information that the iPhone 8 will have a starting price of $999, tweeted images of alleged sim trays of the iPhone 8. The silver color, meanwhile, appears to be darker, and closer in shade to Apple's space gray option.
