Pahlaj Nihalani presents Julie 2: Who is Raai Laxmi?

Ex CBFC Pahlaj Nihalani's ouster from the Central Board of Film certification made everyone happy. "It's a complete, adult, family film".

Nihalani, often criticized for censoring the content of the films, will this time be "presenting" the upcoming sequel to the 2004 Neha Dhupia's erotic film, 'Julie'.

Criticism of the movie during the launch event did not go down well with Shivdasani, who intervened and slammed the media judging it way before its release. "I am not associated with CBFC, so do not ask me anything to do with that. I want to say something before you put your questions".

It seems producers are in for sleepless nights now, as the new CBFC helmer Prasoon Joshi has provided a new brief to his board members: do not share your views after viewing of films with producers.

"This is my journey, I am a soldier, and I'll fight it till the end despite being wounded", he said. "I don't see a single movie, because as per rules I can't see any movie". His decision has raised eyebrows, of course, because Nihalani became popular trying to ensure the "sasnkaari" tag remained with the CBFC for as long as possible. After his appointment, a list of banned words started doing the rounds on the Internet. He incidentally is the same man who couldn't let James Bond kiss in front of the Indian audience.

His comment was a dig at Lipstick Under My Burkha, which he had refused to certify as he deemed it too "lady-oriented".
