Antonio Conte vows to make Tiemoue Bakayoko a complete player

Kante and Bakayoko have completed the most defensive actions for Chelsea in the Premier League this season.

"Last season I said during many press conferences about N'Golo that he could improve a lot with the ball", the Italian told reporters. Now you can see a complete player - with the ball and without the ball. He always knows when he has the ball what he has to do.

"Having already played that match, being able to win that match, being able to bring so much happiness to our fans was really a wonderful achievement for the team". But he can improve a lot with the ball.

"But it is nevertheless incredibly important and it's absolutely vital that we work hard to achieve the right result on the pitch. To have in your team a powerful player is very important, above all in this league". If you remember he was very, very good without the ball.

Bakayoko, signed for £40 million from Monaco in July after previously attracting the interest of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, is expected to line up alongside Kante in central midfield when Wenger's side visit Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Conte has lost three of his four meetings with the Gunners, last season's 3-0 defeat at the Emirates provoking the change in system which set Chelsea on course for the title.

"And if there's a lot of importance that is riding on this game then it probably comes from the people associated with the club and the fans and what it means for them living in London".
