It has also been confirmed that A.R Rahman, the double Oscar-winning composer who owes his career to Ratnam, has been confirmed to compose the music. Having already worked with Arvind Swami in "Roja", "Thalapathi", "Bombay" and "Kadal", this will be Ratnam's maiden collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu and Fahadh.

While Santosh Sivan will crank the camera, Sreekar Prasad will take care of its edit.

The title and rest of the cast members of the film are expected to be announced soon.

After much speculations, Mani Ratnam has finalised the cast and crew of his forthcoming yet-untitled venture.

Official PRO of the film Nikhil Murugan has released a press note confirming the upcoming project. The un-titled film is touted to be a mega-budget film and will be produced by the veteran filmmaker himself under his home banner Madras Talkies. Earlier, Dulquer Salman, Ram Charan and others were rumoured to be a part of this project. "Mani Ratnam had plans to rope in another hero for the particular role in his upcoming multi-starrer but after watching Arjun Reddy, he signed Vijay Devarakonda", added the source.
