Belgian Alison Van Uytvanck claimed her first WTA title in dramatic style on Sunday, rallying from a set down to beat Timea Babos in the Quebec City final.

After a break in the seventh game of the second set, Babos moved 5-3 ahead, however, wrapping things up again proved a challenge, as Safarova battled to stay in the tournament.

Another four set points went begging for the Hungarian before she eventually moved ahead after almost an hour on court. The 23-year-old made no mistake.

But Babos held on and saved set point in a first set tie-break before a single break was enough to win the second set and the match 7-6 (8/6) 6-4.

Andreescu served for the match at 5-3 in the final set, but Hradecka won the final four games to seize the victory.

Timea Babos, +10 (No.63 to No.53): The Swiss star had an impressive run to the final of the Coupe Banque Nationale in Quebec, knocking out top seed Lucie Safarova in the semifinal, 7-6, 6-4, but ultimately fell in the final to Alison van Uytvanck.

Although she was unable to convert four match points on Safarova's serve, she wrapped it up in the next game.Meanwhile, Van Uytvanck bagged a 6-1, 6-2 victor over Germany's Tatjana Maria.
