Though it may look like a standard video game, "Shadow of the Colossus" is anything but - the character you see above is who you play as, and he's got an objective: Take down big monsters.

Unfortunately, a release date for the remake wasn't provided - it's still set to release in 2018 for the PlayStation 4. Some fans are hoping for Colossi that had been cut from the original game to be added to this remake, though Ueda (the original Designer) has stated he didn't think they would be.

Shadow of the Colossus' PlayStation 4 remake has a new trailer from Tokyo Game Show, showcasing footage captured from the PlayStation 4 Pro. You can check out the new trailer down below.

Unlike the PlayStation 3 remastered re-release of Shadow of the Colossus, which was originally released for the PS2, this new version is being remade, or "rebuilt", from the ground up specifically for the PS4 console. None from the PS3 remaster will be used. Even with just the usual sixteen, Shadow of the Colossus will always be a game worth revisiting. It's considered to be one of the most powerful testaments to the games as art debate and has influenced countless other titles.
