Vivo X20 and X20 Plus official, offer 18:9 Full View screen

The new flagships have been a part of the rumour mills for a while now and were expected to feature an 18:9 aspect ratio display along with a dual-camera setup on the back and the phones do check these boxes. The registrations for the first X20 sale open September 22 in China and the phone will be available beginning September 30. As usual with vivo devices, it's unclear if or when they will be officially sold outside of China. Both models come in gold, rose gold, and black colour options. Both the devices are powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC, an octa-core CPU clocked in at 2.2 GHz.

The Vivo X20 features a 6.01-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2160 Full HD+ resolution, while the X20 Plus sports a bigger 6.43-inch display with the same Full HD+ resolution. On the front side, the Vivo X20 features a 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture, and soft LED flash for capturing bright selfies even in low light conditions.

The Vivo X20 Plus boasts of a larger 6.43-inch FHD+ 2160 x 1080 pixel Super AMOLED display with a similar aspect ratio of 18:9. Both the device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity. Talking about its software front, the Vivo X20 runs on Google's Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with company's proprietary FunTouch 3.2 custom UI skin running on top.
