In a letter to the Union Government, the State Government said the CBI should probe all different angles of the case.

The CBI will also record the statement of Ryan International group's CEO Ryan Pinto in connection with the case.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is all set to take over the probe into the killing of Gurgaon schoolboy Pradyuman Thakur and will register an FIR in the matter, agency sources told PTI on Friday.

Although, the State Government chose to hand the case to the CBI, they were asked to appear before the State police on September 26.

The CBI official further said that a team of the agency has reached Gurugram and will visit the school on Saturday to collect more evidence in the case. Pradhuman was found dead with his throat slit inside the school's washroom inside the Ryan International School in Bhondsi area on the Sohna Road in Gurugram district on September 8, within an hour after his father dropped him.

Following the incident, school's bus conductor was convicted of the crime, but the case took a complicated turn after family of the accused claimed that he was being wrongly framed and that the school authorities were trying to mislead.

Meanwhile, the school, which opened on Monday - 10 days after the murder of Pradyuman - has been shut down again for a week.

Police have also added Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act for security lapses by the school and arrested two senior Ryan officials - its north India head Francis Thomas and HR head Jayesh Thomas, in its murder FIR.

"If the formal inquiry by the CBI is not started by tomorrow, then Barun Thakur will move the Supreme Court on Monday", The Thakur's lawyer said.
