Donald Trump Comments on NFL Ratings, National Anthem Protesters

I watched for a couple of minutes.

"Both the film and the statistics say that the Nevada product is good enough to be on an National Football League roster", reported Business Insider, "and his supporters believe he has been "blackballed" by National Football League owners who prefer inferior quarterbacks to the potential distraction of employing such a divisive player". Two guys just really lovely tackle, boom, 15 yards. Hey look, that's what they want to do. "They want to hit, but it is hurting the game".

The president then challenged the American people to leave the stadium if they see a player kneeling the anthem, which is performed before the kickoff of all National Football League games.

"But you know what's hurting the game more than that?"

"They're ruining the game", he said of flag-kneeling players and overly litigious officiating standards. When people like yourselves turn on television and you see those people taking the knee when they are playing our great national anthem. "I guarantee things will stop". Specifically, Trump referred to the protesters, most of which are black men, as 'that son of a bitch.' The President then doubled down and said team owners should fire the protesters and would gain notoriety for doing so. "Pick up leave. Not the same game anymore, anyway".

Players like Colin Kaepernick, Michael Bennett, Malcolm Jenkins and others have repeatedly said they are not protesting the anthem itself, but rather the racial inequality and injustice that continue in this country.

Kaepernick controversially refused to stand during the national anthem in protest of police brutality.
