A jury has found a man guilty of kidnapping, raping and murdering a Tennessee nursing student who disappeared from her home more than six years ago.

Dicus, who was pulled from the case in 2013, also said he collected blonde hair from Britt's home, and noted that his criminal history included targeting eight women who resembled the blonde nursing student.

Scenario 1: The jury finds Adams guilty of first-degree murder.

This is breaking news.

He told the jurors the court can not comment on evidence and that they must make their decision based on what they heard in court. He went on to tell jurors to consider all the evidence.

The judge said the jury's question was related to evidence being entirely circumstantial.

Jurors resumed their deliberations at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

The prosecution and defense rested their cases Wednesday in the high-profile trial of Zach Adams after nine days of testimony.

Closing arguments have begun in the Holly Bobo murder trial.

The defense began closing arguments by saying Adams was "100 percent innocent of all charges".

He also referenced a gun in Bobo's killing months before her remains were found and her cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound to the head, Hagerman said.

"Nobody in this world knew if she was strangled, if she was stabbed, if she was run over and certainly not shot", Hagerman said.

"Their theory is full of these holes".

"He sold it to them, and the only price he had to pay was this tall tale he came up with in January", Thompson said.

Zachary Adams, 33, has been standing trial in Savannah, Tenn.in the slaying of 20-year-old Holly Bobo, who vanished from her Parsons home on April 13, 2011. This comes after the jury worked for nearly three hours on Thursday.

Multiple witnesses were called throughout the trial, including Bobo's mother, father and brother and Adams' grandfather.

Adams had pleaded not guilty in court to her murder. Jennifer Thompson said Autry, who is also charged in the case, made up a story three years after his 2014 arrest and "sold" it to the government in hopes of avoiding the death penalty.

Adams was one of three men charged in the crime.
