Josh Norman Calls Out Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree After Raiders Beatdown

Norman hinted that it began with some pregame trash talking. Dez Bryant and Odell Beckham Jr. have topped the list, but week in and week out, it seems like Norman is jawing about one of his opponents.

Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman helped shut down the Oakland Raiders' vaunted offence on Sunday night in a 27-10 victory and let their receivers know about it after the game. Oakland entered Sunday's contest averaging 240 passing yards in the previous two games. They were completely shutdown and and were non-existent throughout the entire game due to Norman and the Redskins secondary's tight coverage. And target them he did.

"What was personal, other than them getting their tails whupped?".

"You don't come in here and say what you're going to put up on somebody. 200 yards? Did he even catch two balls?" "So please, whatever you do, do not run your mouth if you're a wide receiver and you expect to show up on Sundays, because I'm telling you, we are here and we are waiting".

Norman also added he wants a player to "show me" what he can do rather than come and just talk about what he is going to do. Crabtree? I have nothing to say to you.

The Redskins didn't feel the need to have Norman shadow one receiver in particular, letting him and Bashaud Breeland stick to their respective side all night. With their renewed defensive prowess, the team will be in good shape moving forward.

"So whatever that young cat said, Coop, go and take it back", Norman said.

If you were heading into Sunday night down by only a few points with Derek Carr and Amari Cooper ready to do damage and solidify a Week 3 win, life was as bad as it could get for about three hours. I may be Cover 2, but I'm Cover 1 too. All of them. All the ingredients to make a ideal attack.
