The poll's top four teams remain unchanged: Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma and Penn State.

Alabama kept its top spot in this week's Associated Press Top 25 poll after a 66-3 thrashing of Ole Miss on Saturday.

"Obviously, we need to get the field goal situation cleaned up, that is unacceptable and I'm not pleased with it at all", head coach James Franklin said following the win. No. 24 Mississippi State fell on the road at No. 13 Auburn, while No. 25 LSU was taken down in a huge 24-21 upset by Sun Belt favorite Troy.

Auburn hasn't exactly had an easy schedule through the first five weeks of the season, facing off against defending national champion Clemson, Mississippi State and what was supposed to be a high-powered Mizzou offense. Washington Huskies 7. Michigan Wolverines 8. No. 3 Oklahoma, which had the weekend off, and fourth-ranked Penn State, an easy victor against IN, also maintain their positions.

USC dropped from No. 5 to No. 15 in the latest release of the Amway Coaches Poll.

Could the two Washington schools be running the Pac-12 Conference this year? Oklahoma State 16. Virginia Tech 17. Louisville Cardinals 18. South Florida Bulls 19.
