Police say the boys were walking on a sidewalk when a auto left the road and ran the boys over.

Metro Police say 28-year-old Joseph Eskandarian was taken custody early Sunday, about six after the fatal accident Saturday night.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police didn't immediately release the names Sunday of the three Las Vegas boys - ages 12, 13 and 14 - who all died at the scene of the crash at 9 p.m. Saturday. A 13-year-old boy was injured, but he is expected to survive.

Three teenagers were killed Saturday night when they were struck on a sidewalk by a vehicle that had lost control.

The ages of the boys that were killed were 12, 12 and 15.

The Clark County coroner will identify the deceased after relatives have been notified.

Police say alleged driver of the vehicle was arrested early Sunday and is facing numerous felony charges.

"Shaken up and distraught", according to a witness account to police, the driver ran from the scene, jumping over a nearby wall and shedding clothing.

Preliminary information indicates a driver police believe was trying to pass another auto on the right shoulder of the road lost control, jumping the sidewalk, hitting the boys and "shearing" a light pole from its base, Kisfalvi said.

Witnesses say the driver was changing his clothes as he was running from the scene.
