Alleged HTC U11 Life Specs Leaked

Being an Android One device, we can expect the U11 Life to get the timely software and security updates, and ship with a stock interface devoid of any HTC Sense enhancements.

Other notable details include IP67 water and dust resistance, HTC's own Edge Sense and USonic, plus the HTC U11 Life will be running on Android Oreo out of the box, and will be part of Google's Android One program.

The U11 Life is set to adopt Android One and will sport a pure version of Android 8.0 Oreo, while rumours and leaks point to a second version of the smartphone that'll have Android Oreo but with HTC's Sense UI added on top.

All of those specifications pretty much scream "mid-range", though it is nice to see RAM start at 3GB and a 16MP front-facing camera.

Android One has been getting a fresh breath of life in the past months thanks to an expansion into new countries with the Xiaomi Mi A1 and Moto X4 Android One version.

According to a generally trustworthy HTC-specialized Twitter tipster, this downgraded list of features will include a 1080p 5.2-inch screen and Snapdragon 630 processor.

Anyway, let's take a look at the specs of the HTC U11 Life. Additionally, the smartphone will come in two variants. That's not so bad for a mid-range handset these days, assuming the price is right as well. While on the camera's like we earlier suspected it has a 16MP selfie snapper also similar to the Moto X4, while talking about the rear shooter there's no dual-camera support, but it's also a 16MP sensor with LED Flash. And that's something the Taiwanese firm has completely messed up during the past few years.
