The new is being fired our way from Entertainment Weekly, who reports that Greer would play Karen Strode, the daughter of Jamie Lee Curtis' character Laurie Strode in the original movie.

Judy Greer is in negotiations to star in David Gordon Green and Danny McBride's Halloween re-launch for Blumhouse Productions and Miramax with Universal Pictures distributing the film worldwide in October 2018. This wouldn't be the first time in the franchise offspring of Curtis' character Laurie were featured. And regardless of whether the favorite target of Michael Myers has been killed in Halloween: Resurrection (2002), because the footage should not take account of the majority of the suites.

And it is rather a good news, because if the actress is not one of the biggest Hollywood heavyweights, she has created a career of supporting roles awesome and extremely varied. The new Halloween, however, is said to be ignoring most of the sequels in the franchise, so it's likely these other children won't come up. In the Halloween H20 timeline, she has a son, John Tate, portrayed by Josh Hartnett. Sorry, forgotten Strode kids. She's now set to reprise her role from Ant-Man as Mrs. Ant-Man in Ant-Man and the Wasp, which coincidentally stars Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers' Paul Rudd. It's still too early to speculate about anything plot-related, but with the scene-stealing Greer (Archer, Ant-Man, Arrested Development and seriously dozens more) joining Curtis in the movie, all we care about is how excited we are to see what comes next. "And so Green and I, our approach is to get back to that".
