The Mate 10 will be powered by Huawei's latest Kirin 970 SoC, a major improvement over the Kirin 960 from a year ago. Huawei are planning to make AI the central theme of the new Mate 10 devices. However, the dimension of the Mate 10 is unknown.

The famous smartphone tipster, Evan Blass has shared two new images of the upcoming Huawei Mate 10 Pro which the Chinese smartphone manufacturing company is going to unveil later this month.

Recently, another image leaked on the internet revealing the Mate 10 Pro alongside its predecessor, the Huawei Mate 9. Another key difference is that the Mate 10 sports a glass back as compared to the metal back on the Mate 9. Considering the Pro suffix is attached to the phone, it will most likely boast powerful specifications compared to the Mate Lite and the Mate 10.

The optics will be using Leica lenses with the main camera coming with an aperture of f/1.6, which will be one of few phones with such a big aperture in the market now. Samsung Note 8 has gone on sale at a price of $1,000, and to Russian Federation he asked for and did 70,000 rubles, well, the new Huawei Mate 10 Pro will cost about 940 euros, so the difference is insignificant.

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is expected to come preinstalled with Android 8.0 Oreo that will be skinned with EMUI skin. The Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro are going to feature the in-house Kirin 970 SoC that includes a dedicated a neural processing unit (NPU) for handling AI features.

Based on previous reports, the Mate 10 Pro is said to come in four options including 6GB RAM/64GB storage, 6GB RAM/128GB storage, 6GB RAM/256GB storage, and 8GB RAM/256GB storage.

Assuming this leak is authentic, the Huawei Mate 10 would not be much different than its predecessor in terms of design. Share us your thoughts by adding your comments below.
