The feature-length film is a Fox Animation production, with Blue Sky Studios and Chernin Entertainment overseeing the project.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Will Smith and Tom Holland will voice the main characters in the new movie Spies in Disguise, which follows a secret agent that nearly causes a global war after a pigeon gets stuck in a nuclear briefcase. That's the premise of Spies in Disguise, a new animated comedy from Fox Animation that will finally bring together the Fresh Prince and Spider-Man.

Smith is best known for his work in "Men in Black" and "Independence Day".

Imagine if super spy James Bond and Q, the nerdy inventor who creates all of Bond's super cool gadgets, had to team up for an adventure? It's all based on Lucas Martell's short animated film Pigeon: Impossible, which you can find at the bottom of the page.

Nearly the exact opposite of Lance is Walter, voiced by Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming).

Nick Bruno and Troy Quane will co-direct the movie.

On the other hand, Holland will give his voice for Walter, who has a sharp mind but is not a great socialiser. Check out some first look images of Holland and Smith's characters here...

It's been a while since Will Smith has lent his voice to an animated film - you pretty much have to go back to 2004's Shark Tale for the most recent example. Smith will next be seen in Netflix's Bright and is now filming the live-action remake of Disney's Aladdin. Nick Bruno and Troy Quane are busy making the feature-length version, due to hit United States screens at least in January 2019.
