New Android Wear 2.0 Features Can Now Arrive Via Play Store

Google has again updated its Play Store app, and now it reaches version number 8.3.42, now this version does not bring the features we talked about earlier in our tear-down of the version (8.3.41). The company has now released Play Store version 8.3.42, just a tiny little upgrade from the last release. While the update doesn't appear to be bringing anything new visually, the release is expected to offer some under the hood improvements and minor bug fixes.

You'd be forgiven for thinking that Google was over and done with Android Wear, given the dearth of smartwatch news at its recent product launch event - not to mention the Android Wear section's subsequent removal from the Google Store. In the previous version Google indices new features like Cookbooks, FAB button, Fast Scroll and Quick Install. So, it's likely that Google is still experimenting with those features and we might see it in the next update or so.

However, the Play Store v8.3.42 has started rolling out in some areas. However, if you're someone who likes to live on the bleeding edge as far as software updates are concerned, then go ahead and download the latest Play Store APK from the download link below and sideload it to your Android device.

Note: To install the apk externally, you need to tweak the security settings. However, finding about new stuff in code doesn't always mean new features coming to the Play Store.
