Cooler and cloudy today, warmer for the weekend

Shower chances are pretty low by the weekend, but a stray sprinkle is possible Saturday morning, especially in western NC.

COOLER WEATHER: The cold front also knocks down to the mid 60s on Monday, and we stay there on Tuesday. A cold front will push through central Georgia, bringing with it some much deserved fall like weather. Warm winds coming up from the south take our highs to the 80s on Sunday. Readings by daybreak on Saturday will range from the lower to middle 60s inland to the mid and upper 60s across the Grand Strand.

SC residents will get a break next week from abnormally high temperatures - a change that forecasters say will be the first noticeable signs of fall's arrival in many parts of the state. We get the mid 60s today because of the clouds, and tomorrow we get the mid 70s tomorrow thanks to some afternoon sun.

We have a sunny and warm forecast for you today with highs in the upper 80s. Lows will be in the mid-40s to low 50s.

A cold front will move in late Sunday night into Monday.


Otherwise, we spend most of the day dry and just cloudy. Clear skies continue. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s- closer to average.

Wednesday Night.Mostly clear. Lows near 50.

Thursday.Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Friday: Sunny, delightful. High: 65-70.
