As we previously reported, WWE is planning an inter-brand match between WWE Champion Jinder Mahal and Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series this year. Sami Zayn will open the show and WWE United States Champion Baron Corbin will be in action.

It looks like the newly resurrected Shield will be sticking around for a bit after WWE TLC this weekend.

The headlining match of that pay per view is the reunion of The Shield as they take on The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus, and Braun Strowman in a handicap match. "There's very few people on the SmackDown roster I've yet to have a one-on-one match with, and I think that would be very special to have any one of those guys at WrestleMania".

When Mahal was asked while doing a Q&A who he would like to face at WrestleMania 34 next year, he issued out an official challenge to John Cena to face him at the show.

Adding, "It could happen, because I fully intend on being WWE Champion come WrestleMania and even after WrestleMania". Do you necessarily have to be a top guy to have the championship? "But I personally enjoy being a champion".

After defeating Shinsuke Nakamura to retain his WWE Championship at WWE Hell in a Cell, Jinder Mahal returned to his homeland of India as a conquering hero to promote WWE's December tour there.
