The body of a missing 6-year-old Washington state boy was found early Tuesday morning in a dumpster, and there is evidence he was the victim of homicide, according to The Snohomish County Sheriff's Department.

A TEENAGE relative of an autistic schoolboy is in police custody after the child's body was found dumped in a rubbish bin.

However, the child's body was uncovered hours later close to the complex where he lived, Snohomish County Sheriff's Office revealed.

Dayvid was last seen in his apartment around 2:30 p.m. Monday and was reported missing at 5 p.m., Ireton said.

His body was found just before 2am today by deputies in a dumpster around the corner from the front door of the apartment where he lived.

The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office said in an October 17 Facebook post that it was waiting for the county medical examiner to provide the cause and manner of death.

Detectives are investigating and a 19-year-old male relative of the boy has been taken into custody. Police said it appeared the boy had been a victim of homicide.

"Detectives are processing the crime scene and are expected to be working for several hours", the office wrote. Ireton says the relative not considered to be under arrest and hasn't been charged.

The boy's cause and manner of death will be released by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's office.

There are now no other suspects in the investigation, Ireton says.

According to KING-TV, over 100 volunteers had searched throughout the night for Pakko.
