So far, the only Queen member that is getting all the attention is Mercury.

"When you're able to open your eyes and see a different person staring back at you in the mirror", Malek says, recalling his first time in hair and makeup, "it's a very affirming moment".

A new photo has arrived of Rami Malek in his highly-anticipated role as Freddie Mercury in the upcoming Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody. Malek channels Mercury's look from that global-concert event.

The image sees Malek in another classic Freddie Mercury pose from their 1979 Live Killers tour, donning red leather pants with his fists held aloft and looking up towards the sky.

The other part of that equation is - of course - that voice.

The photo features Malek onstage as Mercury himself, and we're even more curious to see how Malek brings Mercury's spirit to life on the silverscreen. "I'm not working on my acting".

Malek explains that it's more of a story honoring the musician, rather than focusing exclusively on the dark side of Freddie's story-but the "dark Freddie story" will be honored.

That all changes with the release of Bohemian Rhapsody, though, which is poised to place Rami Malek front and center as the great Freddie Mercury. "It's about collaboration. It's a celebration".

The new sneak-peek comes one month after the first photo of Malek as Mercury was revealed.
