Destiny 2 is skipping Trials of the Nine for two weeks

Bungie has had a troubling couple of weeks, not only dealing with an existential crisis regarding Destiny 2's endgame and quality of content, but they've also had to postpone and delay endgame content thanks to pesky glitches. By removing the emote from the game, it prevented future players from buying it, but for players who already owned it, it presented an issue that needed to be remedied as well.

"As a follow-up to reported incidents of emote glitching in the Crucible, we are investigating a fix that we plan to deploy during the first week of November", explained Bungie. The Trials of the Nine should resume November 3, with the PC version of Destiny 2 out by then. While the company did not provide further details on the issue, the emote in question is nearly certainly Bureaucratic Walk, a Monty Python-inspired animation that players have been using to glitch through walls. Last month, the playlist changed from kill-focused Survival matches on the Altar of Flame map back to the bomb defusal Countdown mode on Eternity.

Destiny 2 has certainly received quite a bit of praise for having a story that was much more engrossing and having more content for players to enjoy. Still, it's better than getting outplayed by a ton of Monty Python goofballs glitching their way to victory.
