Ex-Test captain Brendan Taylor and pace bowler Kyle Jarvis are set to make their worldwide cricket return after both were included in the 16-man Test squad to face West Indies in the two-match series that gets underway in Bulawayo this weekend.

Taylor penned a four-year contract putting an end to his Kolpak deal with English County side Nottinghamshire in order to resuscitate his global career with the Zimbabwe national team.

Chairman of the selectors Courtney Browne said the selection panel has agreed to send the same Test squad that toured England to visit Zimbabwe. But Zimbabwe are yet to win any of the Test matches that they have played which means West Indies are the favourites in this series.

Zimbabwe's Test Squad: Graeme Cremer (capt), Hamilton Masakadza, Solomon Mire, Chamu Chibhabha, Craig Ervine, Brendan Taylor, Sikandar Raza, Sean Williams, Malcolm Waller, Peter Moor, Regis Chakabva (wk), Michael Chinouya, Chris Mpofu, Kyle Jarvis, Tendai Chisoro, Nyasha Mayavo.

The first Test begins on October 21 and the second Test from October 29 - Nov.2 at the Queen's Sports Club in Bulawayo. Completing Zimbabwe's new look, Solomon Mire is also a very strong contender to debut at the top of the order.

West Indies: Kraigg Brathwaite, Kieran Powell, Kyle Hope, Shai Hope, Roston Chase, Jermaine Blackwood, Shane Dowrich (wk), Jason Holder (capt), Devendra Bishoo, Kemar Roach, Shannon Gabriel.
