A collaboration between indie development team Plastic and Sony's Santa Monica Studio produced the artful platformer Bound.

For you horror hounds out there, we've got 2016's gloriously grisly PS VR exclusive Until Dawn: Rush of Blood.

Rounding off this month's offerings on the older consoles are R-Type Dimensions and Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic for the PS3 and Dungeon Punks and Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse Ep1 and Ep2 for PS Vita.

The Game and Network Services division, ruled by the PlayStation brand, solidifies its position as the main engine of the electronics giant, posting sales of $3.92 billion, which is more than double than the numbers from the same July-September period past year. Initially it was simply subscription service where members would receive free games each month.

PlayStation Plus subscribers no longer have to wonder what titles they will be able to get for free as part of their subscription.

How much is PlayStation Plus?

How often does PlayStation Plus update?

The official word is that they have shipped 4.2 million PlayStation 4 consoles to retailers during a three-month period, which ended on September 30, up from 3.3 million units in the previous quarter. Next up was a brand new game announcement in the form of The Hong Kong Massacre by Vreski, a top-down shoot-em-up that's full of style and neon-infused colors, which is also coming to PS4 in 2018. Sometimes it only runs a game for a couple of weeks at a time - but that hasn't happened in a while.
