Thompson left Wednesday's night's game against the Indiana Pacers in the second quarter and didn't return.

Thompson (calf) has been ruled out for a month, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.

Sources: Cleveland Cavaliers' Tristan Thompson is expected to miss one month with left calf injury he suffered Wednesday night.

On Thursday, Thompson had an MRI done to determine the severity of the injury, and the results were apparently not good. He will be out until December, forcing Kevin Love back to center and allow Jae Crowder and Jeff Green to get more minutes in the frontcourt. He entered that game with career lows across the board in points (4.7), rebounds (6.0) and minutes (22.6) per game.

Already in the midst of a four-game losing streak, the Cavaliers will have to try to right the ship without Tristan Thompson.
