LeBron Annoys NYC Subway Rider While Taking Train With Cavs Teammates

LeBron and the Cavaliers hopped on public transportation following a shootaround before their game against the Knicks Monday night.

Rather than taking the team bus around town after today's shoot around, the Cavs opted for the subway, riding alongside everyday passengers and filming their experience.

The team, who were nearly too big for the subway auto, were squishing together for the ride. The players made some new friends - like this guy who clearly had no idea LeBron was sitting next to him. You board a train and do a quick scan: Are there any open seats?

Still, it's startling to see a LeBron James-led team being projected to miss the playoffs after seven straight Finals appearances. Or, as J.R. Smith put it, "like real citizens".

LeBron James narrated most of the video, confirming it was his first time taking the subway in NY and second time overall.

"I don't know why he would say that", said Porzingis, according to Adam Zagoria of the New York Times.

It's unclear what train the Cavs were getting on at the 34th Street-Penn Station stop.

Isaiah Thomas "knew" Boston would be a good team, but even he's surprised by the Celtics' 12-game winning streak.

The unquestioned star of the Cavaliers' trip on the subway in NY is the "Can You Not?"

Thomas, who has sat out with a hip injury since the Eastern Conference Finals last summer, vows to help the Cleveland Cavaliers recover from their slow start to their season once he finally suits up for his new squad.
