Monday's First Warning Forecast: Morning rain then clearing skies

Overnight, rain may become heavier in eastern MA with possible snow or ice mixed in well north and west of Boston into southern New Hampshire, low in the 30s.

Today: Starting off mostly cloudy with mild temps.

Dry weather returns for tonight and Tuesday but plenty of clouds will linger over the area, the service says. Tonight our overnight lows will be chilly in the low 30's to the low 40's.

We will see a nice blend of mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies for the rest of the work week.


Wednesday temperatures will increase slightly with a high in the mid-50s and a low in the low 40s, but a jacket will still be necessary to stay warm. Light and variable wind becoming east around 6 miles per hour in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38.

Saturday: Partly to mostly sunny.

There will be scattered rain showers throughout the afternoon into the late evening then our chances of rain showers become fairly slim. While there could be a few stray showers Wednesday afternoon and Thursday, the overall impact will be low and most of us will not see any rain. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Sunday: Mostly sunny. High near 49°.
