However in the graphics department, this is where the Xbox One X has the lead with more TFLOPS and also more memory with 12GB of GDDR5 RAM versus the PS4 Pro's 8GB of GDDR5 RAM. On average, the Xbox One X is the platform that maintains a higher resolution in most scenes, offering a level of detail overall higher.

As reported by Gamesindustrybiz, UK retailers have now revealed first week numbers across the region, which tallies to 80,000 units sold. And following a recent report from, it appeals the console lived up to expectations - reportedly selling 80,000 units in the UK.

It's first week sales are also well ahead of PS4 Pro, which did a little over 50,000 back in November 2016. A year ago the publication reported that the PS4 sold 50,000 units during its launch week, managing to sell a further 30,000 units after four weeks on sale.

While the Xbox One X has been criticised for its first-party lineup and premium price tag, it appears this has detracted from the console's appeal - at least in the UK.
