At least three dead after gunman opens fire at USA primary school

According to the Tehama County Sheriff's Office, the shooting began at a home and ended up near the school.

Reports indicate that three people have been killed and two people been wounded in a shooting in Rancho Tehama, California.

The school has been cleared and the children are in a safe location. The suspected shooter is dead, police said.

A 30-year-old man was also being taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the right thigh, according to emergency dispatch reports. The shooter was shot & killed by police.

A Corning Unified School district employee confirmed there were injuries at the school.

Rancho Tehama Elementary is reportedly now in lockdown.

Police are investigating at least five crime scenes.

Officers are now investigating at least five scenes in and around the school today.
