The Calgary Flames' seven-game homestand has been a success heading into the finale, and they hope to put another feather in their cap when they host the St. Louis Blues on Monday.

Mark Jankowski tallied twice in the first period and had an assist as the Flames won for the fifth time in six games. The 25-year-old Schwartz is two goals shy of 100 for his career.

Vladimir Tarasenko scored twice for the Blues (13-5-1) while Alexander Steen and Jaden Schwartz had a goal and an assist each.

Blues defenseman Jay Bouwmeester is not yet ready to play, but he's well enough that he traveled with the team Sunday on their flight to Calga... The St. Louis Blues have cooled off a bit since taking over first place in the NHL's Western Conference overall standings.

Steen tied it at 11:46 then Ferland's power play goal restored Calgary's one-goal lead at 12:31. Jankowski then took a slick pass from Jaromir Jagr and scored on deke at 13:45. Flames D Travis Hamonic (lower body) returned after missing three games...
