Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will reportedly use all his stature and influence at the Bernabeu to stand in the way of the club from making a bid to sign Tottenham's Harry Kane.

Reports from Spanish media sources claim that Ronaldo has chose to leave the Santiago Bernabeu outfit at the end of the season. Ronaldo was offered a new contract, but he refused to extend it.

Aguirre insists Ronaldo is a "Madridista", and loves the fans, but has his heart set on a move away after falling out with the club's hierarchy.

Ronaldo has endured a hard start to the current campaign, with just one La Liga goal all season. Spanish journalist Edu Aguirre from El Chiringuito, claimed the superstar is "angry" with Spanish giants, following the deal that is now on the table.

Aguirre further explains the decision "has been made" and this is not a financial matter, but that the four-time Ballon d'Or-winner feels he deserves more affection from the club.

He recently told beIN Sports that he does not intend to sign a new contract. I don't want to renew.
