On the same day that the 27-year-old singer announced details of her new world tour, she made a surprise appearance on "The Tonight Show" to debut another single off her new album, "Reputation".

Jimmy Fallon returned to NBC's "The Tonight Show" on November 13 for the first time since his mother Gloria had passed away on November 4. "We would hold hands, you know".

Recalling her final moments he added: "Last week I was in the hospital and I squeezed her hand and said 'I love you, ' but sadly he did not get any response from her."I just knew we were in trouble", Jimmy told the audience". In his speech, Fallon also addressed his absence from "Tonight Show" and said that it was because he had to be with his family after his mom passed on.

Jimmy subsequently thanked his fans for the support they've shown him since the passing of his mother. Upon reflection for his mother, he said, "Mom, I'll never stop trying to make you laugh". Jimmy was at his mother's bedside, along with her loved ones, when she passed away at NYU Langone Medical Center in NYC.

Immediately following the death of his mother, NBC put out a statement extending its "deepest condolences to Jimmy and all his family at this time of enormous loss". "Our hearts go out to Jimmy and everyone else whose lives were so touched by Gloria Fallon's love, kindness and support".
