The man chose to drift into unconsciousness rather than tap out in the main event of UFC 217 and, just days later, when a potential USADA violation removed Anderson Silva from his scheduled 185lbs clash with Kelvin Gastelum, Bisping wanted to get back to doing what he does best.

"Two main events in three weeks on opposite sides of the planet. walk in the park", the Englishman said. He has been receiving praise for his "warrior" attitude from far and wide.

That's why the former middleweight champion didn't blink when the opportunity arose to step in on short notice to face Kelvin Gastelum in the main event at UFC Fight Night in China in less that two weeks time. "This is the flawless opportunity because I want to fight again, but I don't have to go through all the stress of a training camp and the dieting and everything cause that's all done".

This plan to fight Gastelum throws off Bisping's original agenda.

"There's a fight card on in London", the former middleweight champ said, while referring to a planned, March 17th card.

Bisping spoke with Ariel Helwani on a recent episode of the MMA Hour, and during the interview, he stated that he feels 100% fine physically after his recent fight. "I would love to be on that". Now it's more WWF (E)", GSP said when appearing at the New York Stock Exchange. "It's insane. "It was fun though, I was enjoying the process", says GSP.

With one foot out of the door, Bisping is already looking at his mixed martial arts career with pride. "I'm a very happy man", Bisping said. It's time to move on and do something else with my life. "I've always wanted my last fight to be in England".

'That's why I want to fight Kelvin because I know I can do better than last week. I've got no injuries and Kelvin is a good, respected opponent.

'That wasn't the plan, but circumstances have put me in this situation'.
