US-based wireless network operator T-Mobile has launched a new smartphone - Revvl Plus. The speaker sits below the T-Mobile branding on the back, which, when combined with the front, give the phone a stealthy look with some magenta accents. "As smartphone prices soar, the Revvl Plus bucks the trend, delivering high-end features - like bigger screens, better cameras, longer battery life, biometric security and more - at an unbeatable price", said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile.

At the top is an earpiece, and on the right side are where the physical power button and volume rocker are located.

The smartphone comes with a 6-inch Full HD display with screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

In comparison to the Revvl, the Revvl Plus goes a bit bigger with its features. It's also packing an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and around back there's a dual camera setup with 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. There is also a microSD card slot, allowing users to further expand the storage capacity.

The T-Mobile Revvl Plus will be available this Friday, November 17th. Google released Nougat as it's mobile operating system for 2016.

Finally, and somewhat unfortunately, the Revvl Plus runs a modified version of Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, with no mention of an eventual update to Android 8.0 Oreo. You can purchase the phone for $0 down and $9 a month for 18 months with Jump! On Demand option, or you can fork over $8 down and then $8 per month for 24 months on the Equipment Installment Program (EIP).
