Oakland County Sheriffs Office deputies continue to search for 35-year-old Michael Quigley, who is suspected of shooting his ex-wife around 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Neighbors say the gunshots rang out during a domestic dispute at an apartment on Village Court.

CBS Detroit is reporting that a man and a woman have been shot and taken the hospital.

The victims were listed in critical condition but have since been upgraded to stable condition. Police have been looking for Quigley ever since, and told people in the community to lock their doors and stay inside.

Police are searching for a gunman in Oakland County by ground and air Wednesday morning.

The Brandon School District, Oxford Community Schools, and Clarkston Community Schools all announced closures in one-line messages on their Facebook pages.

Sources have told WXYZ that Quigley may be a Lake Orion School District employee, possibly a wrestling coach at a middle school. Stay with FOX 2 for updates.
