Infinix could have easily released the Zero 5 as a single phone with 2 memory variants instead of launching 2 different models. You may recall that Infinix had entered India in August 2017 with Note 4 and Hot Pro 4.

Shanghai-based Infinix Mobile has introduced two new smartphones in the Indian market called the Infinix Zero 5 at Rs 17,999 (available in Champagne Gold, Bordeaux Red, and Sandstone Black colour variants) and the Zero 5 Pro at Rs 19,999.

Keeping in mind the busy usage patterns of the young generation, Infinix Zero 5 series comes with 6GB RAM and complies with any photography needs with the inclusion of capable dual cameras. The smartphone comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 4350mAh battery with fast charging.

The Infinix Zero 5 features a 5.98-inch full-HD 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. But this phone has not caught up with the trend of bezel-less display which has now become a trend. The Zero 5 smartphone is listed on Flipkart, where it will be sold exclusively November 22 onwards. Inside is the MediaTek Helio P25 MT6757 with 6GB of RAM and a choice of 64GB or 128GB storage.

Moving to the camera department, the smartphone packs in a dual camera setup on the back of the device with a 12 MP camera sensor as the primary camera while the second sensor with 13 MP resolution performs depth-sensing duties. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with the company's custom skin XOS 3.0 on top. We wish to point out that Huawei is the pioneer in Dual camera technology and their recent Dual camera equipped phones have met with tremendous success. The Zero 5 has a 16MP front shooter with f/2.0 aperture and flash. Going by the price, the smartphone will face competition from Honor 9i and recently launched Moto X4. Connectivity options include: Bluetooth 4.2, a USB type-C charging port, GPS, and GLONASS.

The Infinix Zero 5 is a lower mid-range offering from the Hong Kong-based smartphone manufacturer.
