Razer has upgraded its BlackWidow Ultimate mechanical keyboard and this version is now water and dust resistant. The problem with most keyboards is that once you get them wet or get lots of debris inside, they tend to not work well.

Generally, we see IP ratings regarding smartphones, with the first number indicating how dust resistant the device is and the second referring to its protection from water. That means you don't have to sweat the spills that would have probably ruined your old keyboard. A number of lively effects are available to pick from including Wave, Ripple, Reactive, Starlight, and more.

It can be hard keeping track of Razer's growing number of keyboards, many of which are mechanical and some of which have customizable RGB (or "Chroma", as Razer calls it) lighting, and yet others are tenkeyless (no dedicated number pad).

The Razer BlackWidow Ultimate also utilizes green LED individually backlit Razer Mechanical Green Switches with a rated lifespan of up to 80 million keystrokes. Those keys also have 50 g actuation force and the keyboard supports 10 key roll-over anti-ghosting.

The newest Razer Blackwidow Ultimate now features an IP54 water and dust resistance rating thanks to its improved Razer Green switches which now feature a wall around the switch to prevent water and dust from entering. Taking it one step further, Razer has now introduced the feature to its mechanical range with its BlackWidow Ultimate redesigned to include IP54.

The board's other features remain the same as previous iterations of the BlackWidow, including the company's signature Green mechanical switches, green backlit keys and macro recording via Razer Synapse 3.

Oh the joy for we keyboard warriors!
