Neymar became tearful in a recent press conference while on global duty with Brazil, where he pleaded with the media to stop spreading fake stories about him.

"I'm very confident he can make the difference in Russian Federation". He is a young man, full of respect, who knows how important he is to the team.

He has generally dazzled in Ligue 1 since completing his €222 million (S$352 million) transfer, but there have been signs of unease.

Lovato, 25, posted a video of the star dancing on her Instagram while Neymar, also 25, repaid the favour with a photo of the trio captioned "My friends girls".

He was sent off in PSG's 2-2 draw at Marseille after being shown a second yellow card for reacting angrily to a foul by Lucas Ocampos.

Neymar was clearly moved by those words and left after being given a pat on the head by his coach.

He has returned to Barcelona at least twice since the start of the season, twice being pictured on social media with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, and is even reported to have asked them how they would feel if he came back for good.

In the past few weeks Spanish super club Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a sensational move for former Barcelona superstar Neymar, but this week the rumours have escalated to involve an insane swap deal between Los Blancos and the Brazilian's current club PSG, according to the Guardian.

Neymar did not play in that 5-0 win and was reported to have withdrawn himself from the game so he could be fresh for Brazil's worldwide fixtures. For a player like him it is okay to demand privileges.

'The other players are not jealous or angry about this'. "We are happy that he is with us".

After all, this is a Brazil side that one of the favourites to win the World Cup in Russian Federation next summer after they breezed through the South American section of qualifying. England will approach the game in a positive frame of mind after an inexperienced and injury-depleted side produced an encouraging display in a 0-0 draw against Germany on Friday.
