The theft apparently happened on November 5, when a person took the restaurant's Chick-fil-A-branded white van from its parking lot.

The chain said the crime was committed Sunday around 9:45 the parking lot of a Chick-fil-A in Cartersville at Cherokee Place, according to their Facebook page detailing the event.

Chick-fil-A enthusiasts in Georgia have the opportunity to earn free food for an entire year, if they can help identify the suspect who took the catering van.

The store was offering a free year of Chick-fil-a for whoever could identify the suspect, leading to an arrest.

The stolen van was later found in Acworth, Cobb County, after crashing into a parked vehicle in a home's driveway, according to Atlanta-based WSB-TV. The homeowner came outside and observed the damage to his vehicle, found the van abandoned in the roadway and called police.
