Honor V10 with Dual Camera Setup will debut on November 28

Earlier this year, Honor has released its AI-powered smartphone, Honor Mate 10 Pro in the market and reports are suggesting that the new Honor V10 smartphone will also feature kind of the same advanced features. Honor, a subsidiary of Huawei, is set to announce the Honor V10 at an event in China on November 28th.

One of the biggest highlights of the V10 will be its "forward pumping AI speed revolution" - a quote that was translated through their Weibo account. On the software front, we can expect Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box, with EMUI 6.0's skin over the software. In terms of storage capacity, the device is expected to come with a 64 GB and 128 GB storage variants. This feature is similar to the Huawei Mate 10 smartphone. Although not much information was revealed about the phone, it certainly affirms that the Honor V10 will be donning a dual camera setup. Ahead of the official announcement, the Honor V10 has been subjected to several leaks and rumours already.

The Honor V10 firmware I obtained was provided by FunkyHuawei.club, a service which lets you install pre-release Huawei firmwares, recover bricked devices, and rebrand/convert China region phones to worldwide variants. Also, Honor's phone sports a 5-inch display with HD (720p) resolution, a 13-megapixel camera, and a secondary 5-megapixel selfie snapper.

Earlier this year, Honor launched the Honor V9 as the Honor 8 Pro in the worldwide markets. The Honor V10 smartphone is going to be launched in European market starting with London. The company will also be launching the device in United Kingdom for the European market on December 5. The phone is also said to feature the new Kirin 970 octa-core chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone is also expected to support 22.5W fast charging.

Honor V10 is expected to sell for CNY 3000 (approx Rs 30,000) which is in line with the pricing of Honor 8 pro at launch. Coming to the India launch, there are no words from Honor on the same as of yet.
