Nashville Will Sing Its Last Song in Season 6

The upcoming sixth season of Nashville will be the show's last, CMT has announced.

The series is executive produced by Herskovitz, Ed Zwick, Steve Buchanan, and Callie Khouri, who created the series.

After the network canceled it, a groundswell of fan support helped the show to continue at CMT. Star Connie Britton left the series during season 5, which saw her character, Rayna James, die from a vehicle crash.
