Earlier during the day, Lokendra Singh Kalvi, Rajput Karni Sena President told ANI, "We won't let "Padmavati" release".

In news that is more troublesome for Sanjay Leela Bhansali, a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court against Padmavati on Friday. "Shri Rajput Karni Sena has now just conveyed a lesson to Deepika Padukone to stop making provocative statements or face the result", Makrana said. The organisation promotes "national unity" and is opposed to caste-based difference and "corruption".

A protester in Patna alleged that Padmavati never used to dance and it's a false portrayal of her character by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Kalvi also said they are going to hold various programmes in different cities.

Asked what if the CBFC clears the film and it releases on December 1 in Jharkhand, Lalan Singh said, " Jo bhi cinema hall dikhaega, woh uska aakri show hoga (Whichever cinema hall screens Padmavati will be screening its last film)". "Incidentally, Padmavati is the name of Rani Padmini of Chittorgarh that the 14th-century sultan of Delhi, Alauddin Khilji, conquered eventually". Why is he not doing that? "Now, we don't want that as the whole country is waiting for the release to be postponed". "I, on behalf of Rajput Karni Sena and all social institutions, assure them the film will not release", he stressed. In January, Lalu and his younger son Tejashwi Prasad Yadav had criticised the attack on the set of Padmavati in Rajasthan by Rajput Karni Sena , As Reported By TOI.
